a nightmare of fear and blood.

Hello! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.  Sunday evenings are always a little bitter knowing that tomorrow is Monday... but at least we all still have a few more hours of the weekend to enjoy.  And if you need an idea of how to spend it, why not check out my #28 pick for favorite horror films - The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Hooper, 1974).  This bad boy is known as the granddaddy of all splatter films and thanks to a smart script and documentary-like camerawork, it is suspenseful and scary from start to finish.  Plus, it was inspired by the real-life 1950s mass murderer Ed Gein which makes it even creepier (in my opinion).  The movie is about five friends who are hunted down and terrorized by a chainsaw wielding killer and his family of grave-robbing cannibals.  See this movie soon... Leatherface is sure to scare the bajeezes out of you.
